Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Technician Level I to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a tech-savvy professional with hands-on experience in setting up, repairing, and troubleshooting phones and tablets. This role involves providing high-quality technical support to our clients, both remotely and on-site, thus requiring a valid class 5 driving license.


  • Install, configure, and update software and hardware for mobile devices, including phones and tablets.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mobile devices, ensuring minimal downtime.

  • Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or in person, offering clear and effective solutions.

  • Conduct regular maintenance checks and perform system updates to ensure the smooth functioning of mobile devices.

  • Educate clients on basic device management and security practices.

  • Manage inventory of devices and parts, including ordering and tracking supplies as needed.

  • Document technical manuals, guidelines, and IT requests/issues.

  • Travel to client sites as required to provide hands-on support, necessitating a valid class 5 driving license.


  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is a plus.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a technical support role with a focus on mobile devices (phones and tablets).

  • Strong understanding of Android and iOS operating systems and their troubleshooting procedures.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.

  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

  • Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.

  • Valid class 5 driving license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

  • Customer-oriented attitude with a focus on providing exceptional service.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift and transport moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.

  • Flexibility to work outside of traditional office hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
