Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Network Support Specialist to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in setting up and managing office networks, including experience with NAS setups. This role involves ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems that support core organizational functions.


  • Design, set up, and configure complex office networking environments, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers.

  • Implement and manage NAS solutions, ensuring optimal performance, security, and data integrity.

  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot network problems and outages, schedule upgrades, and collaborate with network architects on network optimization.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to staff on network usage, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

  • Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures, contributing to team knowledge management efforts.

  • Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning, testing, and implementation.

  • Ensure network and IP connectivity of all workstations, application servers, and back-end office infrastructure.

  • Enforce network security best practices, including regular updates and patches to network devices.

  • Document network problems and resolutions for future reference.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum of [X] years of experience in network administration and support, specifically in office network and NAS setups.

  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, and VPN.

  • Experience with major networking hardware brands and network operating systems.

  • Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex networking issues.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Network+) are highly desirable.
